About Luxembourg and its flag
Luxembourg’s national flag is a horizontal red, white and sky-blue tricolour. The Government of Luxembourg lists it among the state’s legally protected national symbols and describes the country’s national symbols collectively as expressing the people’s identity, sovereignty and wish to live together.
Flag design and meaning
The flag has three horizontal bands: red at the top, white in the middle and sky blue at the bottom. Luxembourg specifies red as Pantone 032 C and the blue as Pantone 299 C.
