Flag design and meaning
Georgia uses a white rectangular flag. A large red right-angled cross runs to all four edges, creating four white quarters; each contains a smaller red Bolnur-Katskhuri cross. The Organic Law’s annexes set the official graphic and standard dimensions.

History and adoption
Georgia’s present Five Cross Flag was officially introduced on 14 January 2004, according to a Georgian state regional administration. The 2018 Organic Law on State Symbols states its design in current legislation, and a companion law establishes 14 January as National Flag Day.
