About Tajikistan and its flag
Tajikistan’s national flag has horizontal red, white and green bands, with the white band wider than the others. A gold stylised crown and a semicircle of seven gold five-pointed stars appear on the white band. Official specifications give the flag a 1:2 width-to-length ratio.
Flag design and meaning
The upper red and lower green bands are equal in width, while the central white band is one and a half times as wide. The white band bears a gold stylised crown below an arc of seven gold five-pointed stars. The official proportion is 1:2.
