Chad’s national flag is a vertical tricolour of blue, gold and red. In the state graphic charter, the Government identifies these as the flag’s three colours and provides named digital, RGB, Pantone and CMYK references for each of them.
Flag design and meaning
Blue is at the hoist, gold occupies the centre, and red is at the fly. The government guide consistently calls the middle colour “gold” and describes the national flag through this blue-gold-red sequence, so explanatory copy should preserve that official terminology.
